IV Specialist (Nurse/Paramedic)

Overview: IV Bird is a premier provider of mobile intravenous (IV) therapy, offering on-demand vitamin IV drips delivered directly to homes, hotels, and offices. We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mobile IV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed healthcare professional with experience in administering IV therapy, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for promoting wellness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Mobile IV Drip Administration:
    • Travel to designated locations, including homes, hotels, and offices, to administer vitamin IV drips to clients.
    • Safely and accurately prepare and administer IV treatments according to established protocols.
    • Monitor clients throughout the infusion process, addressing any concerns or adverse reactions promptly.
  2. Client Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough health assessments to ensure clients are suitable candidates for IV therapy.
    • Obtain relevant medical history and assess vital signs before administering IV treatments.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, provide information, and ensure a positive experience.
  3. Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatments administered, and any relevant information.
    • Complete required documentation in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
  4. Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
    • Educate clients on the benefits of IV therapy and answer any inquiries they may have.
    • Address client concerns and feedback in a professional and empathetic manner.
  5. Equipment Maintenance:
    • Ensure that all equipment, including IV lines, needles, and other supplies, is properly maintained and sterilized.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies to the appropriate personnel.
  6. Compliance:
    • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

  1. Current licensure or certification as a healthcare professional (e.g., Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Paramedic, or equivalent).
  2. Previous experience in administering IV therapy is highly desirable.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and adapt to varying work environments.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
